Всем евреям местечка Рясно было приказано собраться на центральной площади с вещами для отправки в Германию. Их построили в колонну и повели в сторону Мстиславля. В 2-х километрах от Рясно в заранее заготовленных рвах все были расстреляны. Ценные вещи гитлеровцы забрали, а всё ненужное осталось на земле. Спустя много лет коллекция Дрибинского музея пополнилась молчаливым свидетелем той трагедии.

All Jews of Ryasno were ordered to gather on the central square with their belongings for 'deportation to Germany.' They were formed into a column and marched toward Mstislavl. Two kilometers from Ryasno, in pre-dug trenches, all were executed by firing squad. The Nazis took valuables, leaving only worthless items scattered on the ground. Decades later, the Drybin District Museum acquired one of these silent witnesses to the tragedy.
